Major League Baseball
Anyone a fan?

Just noticed they're showing all the games.. http://cricfree.tv/baseball-live-streaming

I like it. Its just the endless advert breaks that get a bit much.

Massive baseball fan...

Angels is my team, went to a couple of games last year vs the Tigers.

Local team is the Las Vegas 51's, minor league team. $1 beer nights every Thursday.

Got a pre season series between the Cubs & Mets which I will be in attendance.

I got into it when the Kansas City Royals became good.

So about 2 years ago.

Trunds, 1985 the Royals won the World Series, with Brett Saberhagen as their best pitcher and the great batter, George Brett

2 years ago for me, if you give it a chance you'll love it, saw the Giants at the Mets last year, great atmosphere. It's a very stats heavy game and i love the chess like game they have between pitcher and batter. IT.......IS.......OUTTA HERE!

Don't really follow it, but it is a great day out. Got Blue Jays vs Chi White Sox tickets once on a visit to TO, well worth it.

Feed Me. I'd always liked the idea of it, part of growing up on the Ramones, I guess. But I didn't really get to see much of it until they started showing games on channel 5 (I think?) in the late nineties. Other than that, I only saw it when I was over in the states.

Now I've noticed they're showing the games I might make an effort to try and catch a bit more of it.

Granted I saw two of the worst teams known to man play too.

Re: Major League Baseball
National League is more of a chess game in that the manager can make a double switch and of course the pitcher gets to bat, the American League is more about power especially with the designated hitter rule, that's just a generalisation though as even the NL has produced some great power hitters over the years

I haven't seen enough of it to have a team. But all my mates in SF are Giants fans, with a few A's. As SF is my favourite city I'd probably go for them, or one of the Texas teams if they weren't playing.
